Based on our present situation where 20% of existing students from families who cannot afford $300 Tong Fai and the beneficiaries of CSSA, it is projected that the percentage of students not being able to afford the school fees in future will be higher. The school has thus decided to set aside 30% of the school fees for scholarships and fee remission. This is in line with the caring culture of HYS. It is our social responsibility to include students from all sectors of society. We believe that by admitting underprivileged students who have strived for excellence, we are advocating social justice.
