23rd October marked Heep Yunn School’s 90th anniversary since its establishment in 1936. Our teachers and students convened in the School Hall to watch the live broadcast of the Thanksgiving Service conducted at the HKSKH Holy Trinity Cathedral, humbly thanking the Lord who breathed life into our school community for His unwavering love and grace.
The Cathedral reverberated with hymns sung by choir members, Bible readings proclaimed by School Council members, and notably, the sharing of Ms. Haywood Ip. As a Heep Yunn alumnae, Ms. Ip dedicated herself to advocating for sports development in her alma mater. Years of dedicated endeavor paid off as sports teams scaled the heights and clinched the prestigious Omega Rose Bowl, laying the foundation for the myriad of sports we experience today.
Back on the school campus, we were immersed in a celebratory symphony of sound and sight by the Student Association. Captivated by an engaging storyline interspersed with stunning choreographies, the crowd erupted in constant cheer, concluding the annual Foundation Day on a triumphant note.
