On 29ᵗʰ September, our student leaders gathered in the chapel with blue ribbons tied in their hair for the annual Installation Ceremony. School Prefects, executive committee members of the Student Association, House Captains, leaders of sports teams, music groups, debating teams, the Drama Group, the Dance Group, Girl Guides, School Magazine, and Christian Fellowship brimmed with pride as they received their badges from our Headmistress, Ms. Leung. After a sincere bow, they stepped off the stage carrying the duties and responsibilities entrusted to them by the School.

Our student leaders pledged solemnly to serve Heep Yunn and guide their peers to greater heights, striving to become role models students can rely on. Following the prayer, our Head Prefect, Isa Chan, reminded us that true leadership is not about perfection alone, but about recognising the strength of collectiveness and teamwork — the very values that allow us to soar.

Empowered by the unwavering trust of the student body, shown through thunderous applause, our Office-bearers left the chapel with thankful hearts as the ceremony came to a close. Though the journey of leadership may be toilsome at times, may our student leaders find the strength and courage to overcome challenges and lead their teams to thrive.
