This year, the Inter-school Swimming Competition took place on 10ᵗʰ and 17ᵗʰ October. Through unwavering perseverance and steadfast commitment, our swimmers proudly secured First Runner-up in the A, B, and C Grades, and were awarded Overall First Runner-up, upholding Heep Yunn’s long-standing legacy in swimming.
Throughout the season, every swimmer demonstrated resolute dedication to mastering their craft. Their speed, agility, and disciplined training were evident in every race, impressing both supporters and spectators. Their determination to refine their skills and elevate their performance culminated in truly outstanding results.
We are especially proud of Li Sum Yiu, who made history by breaking the A Grade records for both the 100-metre freestyle and 50-metre freestyle, setting a new benchmark for future competitors. Li Cheuk Yiu also excelled, winning gold medals in the A Grade 50-metre and 100-metre backstroke, a testament to her persistence and strength.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all swimmers for their exceptional teamwork and dedication. Our gratitude also goes to the Student Association, whose enthusiastic support from the stands lifted the spirits of the team throughout the competition. Last but not least, we thank our Headmistress, Ms. Leung, as well as Ms. Yum and Ms. Lai, for their continual guidance and support throughout this exhilarating season.
