On 2nd September, Heep Yunn School warmly welcomed both familiar and new faces to the start of the academic year 2024-2025. As the summer holidays drew to a close, the campus once again buzzed with excitement and the renewed energy of eager students looking forward to starting their studies anew. A sense of anticipation filled the air as we gathered in the School Hall to kick off the new school year. During the Opening Assembly, our Headmistress, Ms. Leung, shared with us the inspiring success story of Elon Musk, highlighting the thought process that led him to become a pioneer in the electric vehicle industry. She introduced the concept of First Principles thinking, encouraging students to tackle life’s challenges by addressing root causes and breaking down complex problems into fundamental elements. “Fight the good fight with all thy might.” With these uplifting words, we hope that this year, our students will apply what they have learnt to overcome obstacles along the way and reach new heights. Surely, a year full of potential, opportunities, and achievements lies ahead!
