Heep Yunn School has never had to face a future as uncertain as this one. The Government is cutting funding and reducing classes, the secondary school admissions procedure is widening our learner diversity, and the New Secondary School (NSS) curriculum is forcing massive staff redundancy.

Right now, the School is facing a deficit in the next academic year. The present funding structure will not be able to support our coaching fees, enhancement and enrichment programmes and teaching and learning assistance, not to mention all the other learning experiences that you enjoyed when you were a student here.

Right now, your school sisters come to us with an ever-widening gap in learning abilities, and the NSS is their make-or-break chance to get a tertiary place. We need to better prepare them with courage and confidence to face these challenges and the ever-changing international community.

Right now, we need you to help us provide an equal opportunity for every child whose thirst for knowledge is identified with our vision – education for all.
