On 20th, 26th, and 29th November, members of our Athletics Team proudly represented Heep
Yunn School at the Wan Chai Sports Ground for one of the most prestigious events of the
year—the Inter-School Athletics Competition.

Despite the challenging weather conditions on the first day, our athletes displayed remarkable
resilience and determination, ensuring that months of rigorous preparation did not go to waste.
Their unwavering dedication and sportsmanship were rewarded with exceptional results. The
team brought home numerous medals in both individual and team events. Notably, Man Lai Ki
clinched victory in the A Grade 5000-metre event, while Ng Yuet Hei emerged as the champion in
the B Grade 3000-metre race. Both athletes broke records in these newly-introduced events,
leaving an enduring legacy at the Inter-School Athletics Meet.

With a remarkable total of 393 points overall, Heep Yunn School secured the title of second
runner-up. Truly, this incredible achievement would not have been possible without the
collective efforts of all our athletes, teachers, and coaches.
We hope that this year’s Athletics Competition has been a memorable and inspiring experience
for all participants. As we celebrate these achievements, we eagerly anticipate seeing our girls
continue to excel and push boundaries in the future.
