As Easter approached, our students gathered at Sheng Kung Hui Holy Trinity Cathedral on 16ᵗʰ April to celebrate this season of hope and love while reaffirming their belief in Christ.
The service opened with hymns and readings from the Bible, transporting us back to the time of Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection—His ultimate act of love for humanity. With bowed heads and sincere prayers, we humbly asked for forgiveness and looked toward a brighter future under Christ’s wise and loving guidance.
The Senior Choir uplifted the congregation with a spirited rendition of “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee” combined with “Jesus Christ Is Risen Today,” their voices resonating through the cathedral and filling our hearts with awe.
Reverend Michael Chan delivered a thought-provoking sermon, exploring the true meaning of Easter. He reminded us that Christ, too, endured pain, betrayal, and humiliation—experiences not unfamiliar to us. Yet through faith, we hold on to hope, strengthened by the knowledge that we are never alone. With that reassurance, we are encouraged to live fearlessly, with humility and grace, forever dwelling in Christ’s love.
