Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme

One of our Form 6 graduates has achieved outstanding success as a recipient of the HKSAR Government’s Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme (HKSES). Juliet Leung went through a strenuous and highly competitive application process involving essay writing and multiple interviews to become one of the 51 students shorlisted for the scholarship, which aims to financially the awardees’ studies support  at prestigious universities overseas on August 15. Juliet received her award at a presentation ceremony  attended by the HKSAR Chief Executive, Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor.
The HKSES scholarship, which amounts up to $250,000 a year, will cover Juliet’s tuition fees for all three years of her study at University College London, where she will studies for a Bachelor of Laws degree.
Before she leaves Hong Kong for the UK, Juliet will share her experience and provide advice for this year’s Form 6 cohort applying to study overseas. Heep Yunn School would like to congratulate Juliet on her outstanding accomplishments and we wish her all the best for her future studies in the UK.
